VegBlogger.com is a vegetarian / vegan blog, dedicated to providing information, news and thoughts on topics ranging from vegetarian and veganism, to animal rights, and green living. I'm Jacqueline Bodnar, and I'm VegBlogger. I'm a writer who is passionate about vegetarianism and nature. I am a vegetarian / vegan influencer!
I have been an ethical vegetarian (primarily vegan) since October 1995 (followed by being a vegetarian for a year as a child). My husband is also an ethical vegetarian, and together we are raising two vegetarian children, who have been vegetarian since birth (they are now both in high school). (Read my post on choosing a label here). I'm a Michigan native, who is has been living in the Daytona Beach, Fla. area since 2006, after spending almost a decade living in Las Vegas.
I am an award-winning writer and have a Master of Professional Writing degree from Chatham University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science Studies (focusing on psychology, political science and history), from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. By merging my two passions, vegetarianism and writing, I have created a way to express my thoughts, share information, and try to reach out to others.
My mission with this blog is to inform, inspire, and combat apathy, regarding vegetarianism. I'm a treehugger, runner, and lover of nature, animals, tea, hiking, reading, meditation, writing, good vegan food, RV camping, and life-long learning.
I am author of the historical fiction novel "Blueberry Steel," "Starting Your Career as a Professional Blogger," and her latest book "Blog for Bucks." Visit my professional writing site here.

I am so glad to have found your blog. I live in the DB area and am always looking for vegan options at the area restaurants. I am more of a pescatarian who leans towards veganism. I only have fish or eggs occasionally....but am dairy free. Thank you for showing all of the dining options in one place.

Thank you! ;)
I hope you enjoy the visit to the area. The beaches have been hit hard from the recent storms/hurricane. Please let me know where you decided to eat and how it was. Enjoy!
