Review: Ohana Food Company in Flagler Beach

Ohana2

If you are looking for vegan food in Flagler Beach, Florida you may want to check out Ohana Food Company, located across from Flagler Beach. Their address is 107 N. Central Ave.

This is a small place that has some good options! We stopped in to try their bowls. You can get a bowl or a wrap, but they just so happened to be out of wraps when we got there. My husband and daughter opted for a veggie bowl, while I went with the peaches and cream oatmeal bowl (the cream was coconut based).

They have a cute diner with a few tables inside and outdoors. We were able to get a table to eat it there. I found the menu board confusing, but maybe that's just me. For example, to make my own bowl it says to pick a base, pick three veggies, pick a sauce, etc. But nowhere does it say what the base or veggie options are. It's a small place and there is not a lot of room for trying to look into the prep area to determine all the veggies. I didn't set out to get an oatmeal bowl, but I did, because I found the write up on those less confusing. Anyway, the food was brought out and it looked great!

I ate my oatmeal bowl, which was good, and I got to try some of the veggie bowl. Everyone liked the food they got. Two thumbs up for this little place that was nonstop busy while we were there. They had people coming in and out from the beach who were getting food to take with them. Confusing menu aside, everything else was good and I'd go back again for sure when I'm in the area. This is not a vegan restaurant, but they do have vegetarian and vegan options.

Check out the Ohana Food Company website here (their online menu is much better than the handwritten one in the restaurant).
