Daytona Beach's Ichi Ni San vegan dining revew
I have been wanting to check out Ichi Ni San for a while now once I pulled up their menu and saw they have a lot of vegan options. I love ramen, so I was eager to go try it out. I had to wait weeks, until he had some free time at lunch, but today we made it happen.
Ichi Ni San is located at 246 S Beach Street in Daytona Beach. They have a nice little restaurant that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Their menu is impressive! They have both a traditional menu and a separate vegan menu. They also offer lunch specials and specialize in ramen and sushi. I ordered the shoyu ramen that had vegetables and tofu, while my husband ordered a spicy miso ramen that had vegetables and tofu.
We were first served up a great little salad that had awesome ginger dressing. The salad was so fresh and the ginger dressing was delicious! Then the ramen bowl came and wow! It looked amazing. It's actually a lot of food in the bowl, it's big! I couldn't even finish it and ended up bringing half of it home. In addition to the ramen noodles, it had lots of veggies, including yellow squash, mushrooms, carrots, and more. The broth was so good. I loved it! I tasted my husband's, which was very spicy. He loves spicy stuff, so he was enjoying every bite. His had a lot of the same vegetables, noodles, tofu, and it seemed that just the broth was different.
Ask for the vegan menu. It's big and has a lot of options to choose from. The vegan ramen has rice noodles, whereas their non-vegan one has traditional ramen egg noodles. They also have a variety of other vegan dishes, appetizers, and more. The menu is exciting and everything sounds good.
The ramen was great and we will be back again. I give it two thumbs up! This is a great little restaurant (with very clean windows) that has great service and delicious food. We had a nice table inside right in front of the window, and it was great how much natural light spilled into the restaurant.
