I have been wanting to try Winter Park Biscuit Company since I heard of it a month or so ago. Today was the day to give it a try! I had to be in the Orlando area for an appointment, so I decided to stop in here for lunch.
Winter Park Biscuit Company is an all vegan restaurant in Orlando. It's located in a court that has some other food establishments and a couple of artisan shops. It's a neat place that offers an eclectic array of food options. The place has a nice outdoor dining area, too.
I decided to go with the WPB Box, which came with three nice size chick'n strips, a biscuit with vegan butter, and fries. You can choose what type of sauce you want for the vegan chick'n strips, so I decided to go with maple mustard, which is like a honey mustard. I also opted to add on the vegan honey for the biscuit. The bill was a bit expensive, around $18 for just me to have lunch, but I was excited to give it a try.
The box was ready and I headed to my car to eat. I would have loved to sit at the outside dining area to eat, but today was a cold February day (it was in the 40's and the wind was blowing), so opting for my car was the best choice. If it was warmer out I would have sat outside for sure.
The food smelled so good on my way to the car! I opened the box and couldn't wait to dig in. And... I'm in love! Seriously! The food was so good! The vegan chick'n was so crispy and tasty, the fries were perfectly crispy, and the biscuit was delicious. I loved all of it. Loved it! The maple mustard sauce was great, too.
I cannot wait to go back to Winter Park Biscuit Company. I loved the food! In fact, I'll be going back in three days with my husband so he can try it, because we have another appointment over that way on that day. I'm looking forward to it. This is going to become one of the places we go to when in Orlando (which is monthly). I can't wait for the kids to try it, too. I know they will love it as much as I do.
Two thumbs way up for Winter Park Biscuit Company in Orlando. They have great vegan food! Check out their site and menu here.
UPDATE 2/17/21: I took my daughter back the following week and she got the Impossible burger they offer. It was good! I added the picture to the bottom of this post. Also, they have now expanded to their full menu, so they have more options now available.
UPDATE 3/2/21: I read online that they expanded their menu and have more items now. My husband and I went back again. I had the box again (I love it), and my husband got the Death Valley Chick'n sandwich, which is spicy. He loved it! He said that he thinks it's one of the best sandwiches he's ever had! I added a picture of it at the bottom of the post.
