Update: This original post was from 8/2019. As of 8/2020 they no longer have these dishes. Now they offer a vegan BBQ jackfruit sandwich, a stuffed vegetarian portobello mushroom, and a vegetarian spinach ricotta dumpling.

Located at 400 E. 2nd Ave in New Smyrna Beach, Norwood's Treehouse Bar is part of Norwood's Eatery. They offer a large dining area downstairs, or you can sit in the treehouse bar area up stairs. The treehouse bar area is all outdoor seating and it's built around the trees, which is really neat. 

I had seen on their online menu that they had a couple of vegan dishes. It's great that this restaurant labels which dishes are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, etc. They have several vegetarian options, and they had two vegan options. The online menu was not the same as the one in person, but we were still able to find a couple of vegan dishes to try. We ordered two vegan options so that we could each try some of both. We ordered the sweet potato burger and the Parisian gnocchi. 

The sweet potato burger is served up with fries and a hush puppy. The burger is really good! It is curry spiced, so it tastes like an Indian style veggie burger, offering both a curry and sweet flavor at the same time. The fries the burger came with were also good, they were really crispy.  Yum! The gnocchi was also good. The sauce was nice and creamy and had a good flavor with the variety of veggies. We liked both dishes, but I liked the sweet potato burger the best, so I'd probably opt for that dish going back again. 

The food and atmosphere were both nice at Norwood's Treehouse Bar, so we would go back there again!
