Hippeas organic chickpea puffs review - vegan chickpea puffs

While down the chip aisle at Target today, I just so happen to see a snack that never caught my eye before. The name is what caught my eye - Hippeas! How can you not love a name like that?! Anyway, I picked it up and saw they were vegan. Awesome! They had three flavors and we decided to get two of them right away to start. They had barbecue, siracha, and vegan white cheddar. We got the latter two flavors to try today.

The Hippeas organic chickpea puffs look like typical cheese type snack puffs. Only they are vegan and organic. And they are healthier. Yes, they are made with chickpeas, so they even have fiber! This is a snack you can eat and not feel guilty about it. The four of us in our family tried the siracha and the vegan white cheddar Hippeas. We all loved them! The vegan white cheddar tastes just like you are eating some old school style cheese puffs, while the siracha flavor Hippeas had a great flavor that was not too spicy or overpowering. The whole family loved the Hippeas chickpea puffs. These little tasty puffs are baked, rather than being fried, so they are healthier. Plus, they have three grams of fiber per serving.

Two thumbs up for these great healthier vegan snacks! My only complaint is that we wish the bag were bigger. We will purchase them again for sure and we are looking forward to trying their other flavors. Not only do I want to try the barbecue flavor I saw at the store, but I also want to try the other flavors the company offers, including far out fajita, and pepper power. Great snacks!

Amazon offers a variety pack you can get, which is nice because it looks like they are more affordable on there and you can get the different flavors. Check it out here: HIPPEAS Organic Chickpea Puffs
