Simple red lentil dal recipe


Want a simple, yet delicious, red lentil dal recipe? Look no further! 

Red lentil dal doesn't get much simpler than this and it's pretty much fool proof, meaning you can't mess it up. It's going to turn out tasty! Even the kids loved this dish. It's not spicy, but it's very flavorful.

Red Lentil Dal Recipe

What you need:

1 cup of red lentils
1 can of coconut milk
1/2 cup minced onion
1 tablespoon of curry powder
2 cups of vegetable broth
Rice (to put the dal over)

Put the onion in a pan and soften it with a little olive oil. Once softened, add in the coconut milk, broth, curry powder, and stir until it all comes together. Add in the lentils and put it on high until it boils. Once it is boiling, turn it down to low and put a lid on it. Cook for around 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice. Yum!
