This week over Spring Break, we went to Savannah, Georgia. Along with checking out the city, we wanted to grab some lunch. I had did some online searching ahead of time and saw there were a few options when it came to getting vegetarian food. We opted for dining at The Sentient Bean, which is located right across the street from Forsyth Park.
The cafe offers a wide variety of drinks, including coffee, tea, and more. They also offer a vegetarian menu of salads, wraps, bowls, and some other items. They serve both breakfast and lunch. We were there at lunch time, but they do serve their breakfast menu items all day.
My son got the quesadilla, which is filled with black beans. My daughter got the house salad, my husband got the BBQ tofu tacos, and I ordered the BBQ tofu wrap. We all liked the food. It was good. My wrap was a bit spicier than I care for, but my husband loves spicy food and he had no problem finishing what I didn't eat. Everyone else liked their food.
This is a nice little vegetarian diner where you can take a break, get some vegetarian or vegan food, and sip some drinks. We liked it! They offer indoor seating, as well as some outdoor seating in the front and out the back of the restaurant. Also, right next door you will find a natural food market. The Sentient Bean also has events you can check out if you have the time.
