There is a Kind Kids Club at the Ivy Hawn Charter School in Lake Helen. I know, really cool, right?! Well, they put on an all vegan event for kids, to promote animal rights. They sent me the information to see if I'd be interested in setting up a booth in it on behalf of the Daytona Beach Vegetarian Society, and I was. The event took place this past Friday, and my BFF helped run the table with me. She has a vegan food/cooking blog and videos that you can see here.

The event was held in a park in Lake Helen, about 25 minutes from where I live. We set up a table and gave out lots of vegetarian/vegan information, and food. We gave out a couple hundred vegan food samples, including ice cream sandwiches, gardein crispy tenders, cupcakes, and soymilk. The event was great ad the food and information were both well received. Thank you to VegFund for helping to make it possible for us to hand out all of this information and plant some seeds!
