My husband had been a big Chipotle fan for years. But I never have been. Why? Because they make their burritos too darn big. Seriously! I find it a complete turnoff to be handed a burrito the size of my head. I even ask the people making it to make it smaller, to just put a little of all the ingredients, but it never works out that way. The burrito is always huge at the end and it makes me not want to eat it. But we would still go from time to time, because my husband likes it and their huge burritos.
Lately, however, I have become a fan of Chipotle! This is because I discovered something that I do like. I order their salad, which comes with a vinaigrette dressing. I get lettuce, black beans, sauteed veggies, some rice, guacamole, and some of their salsa. Plus, I get two small tortillas on the side. Then I mix the salad together and make my own small soft tacos with the mixture. Then I eat some of the salad that is left, but never finish it all, because it's a lot. But this way gives me the option to make smaller size burritos.
This is yummy! I love their vinaigrette dressing on the salad. And Chipotle is very vegan friendly... you can get a vegan burrito, taco, or salad. They even recently made their pinto beans vegetarian (they weren't before). While this has become my favorite option there, my husband still opts for the huge vegan burrito that he loves.
