Hodgson Mill Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix Review

This week I had stopped in at Walmart to stock up on the Snyder gluten free pretzels. They are great and I can always find them at Walmart and for a more affordable rate than the other stores. They are not located near the gluten free aisle. Rather, they are in with the regular pretzels and chips. Great pretzels! My son even thinks they taste better than the regular pretzels that contain gluten.

Anyway, I went down the gluten free aisle as well, because I'm only at Walmart once or twice per month to stock up on things like that. I saw they had Hodgson Mill Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix. It was oly $2.50 per box, so I decided to give it a try.

I made the gluten free chocolate chip cookie mix, but I didn't follow the ingredients to add instructions on the back. The box mix already appears to be vegan and I opted to use vegan ingredients to make the whole batch of cookies vegan. I used vegan butter and egg replacer to make the cookies.

The cookies turned out great! Everyone liked them and my kids could not tell the difference between these gluten free cookies and ones that contain gluten. Great cookies! This is certainly a mix that I will purchase again. Plus, it was easy to use vegan ingredients in order to make these gluten free and vegan! Two thumbs up!

Hodgson Mill makes a lot of gluten free products and I have not found any yet that I didn't like! Woo hoo!

Here are some pictures I took:
