This morning I wake up to news that there has been a recall of 228 380
million eggs. Turns out this massive batch is making people sick.

My thoughts? That represents a lot of chickens that went through a lot of cruelty for nothing. They live in rotten conditions and life a life of misery. Most people justify it because it's for human consumption, so the animal cruelty issue takes a back seat.

But when there are massive recalls like this the eggs are merely a wasteless product of a cruel and unecessary industry. Too bad the cruelty that was involved in the production of 228 380million eggs can't also be recalled.
