It's All Good - veggie beef skewers review

Recently while visiting family in Michigan we went to a BBQ at my sister's house. Of course, they were not eating vegetarian main courses off the grill, but that's what we wanted. I gave some thought as to what I wanted to try grilling. We've done veggie dogs and burgers in the past, but I was looking to try something different. Then I remembered the It's All Good veggie beef skewers. I've bought them once or twice before, but had never actually put them on the grill. So my mind was conjuring up images of what I was going to create with them.

I purchased one package of the skewers and took them off the sticks they came on, cutting the pieces into chunks. I then took larger bamboo skewers and added chunks of onion, green pepper, tomato and zucchini, along with the veggie protein. Once I had the skewers looking like I wanted them, I sprayed them lightly with canola oil and we grilled them outside on the grill.

The skewers were delicious! The only change I would make for next time is to brush them with a little BBQ sauce right before I put them on the grill. Otherwise, it made for a great meal that made even my grandmother commented on by saying they looked good (although she wouldn't try a bite). So if you are looking to try grilling something new, give the skewers a try. It makes for a healthy vegan dish that not only tastes good, but looks great!
