I'm a big fan of The Jazzy Vegetarian! I love her cooking show that's on TV and I love her cookbooks. This week, tried a couple of recipes out of this cookbook pictured. I tried the crispy portobello steaks and the quick penne with broccoli and sun-dried tomatoes. We liked both recipes!
Both recipes are vegan (as are all of her recipes). The portobello steaks was easy to make. I was surprised at how much the mushrooms shrunk up in the oven. You may want to cook extra with that being the case. They did not look all that good when done, but they tasted great. We all loved the penne dish. It's bursting with flavor and looks amazing, too. Two thumbs up for both dishes! I love her cookbooks!
