Present Moment Cafe in St. Augustine, Florida - Vegan Restaurant Review

I've heard about Present Moment Cafe  for a while now, but just never stopped in. Today, my husband and I were in the area and we decided to stop in and give it a try. Present Moment Cafe is an all vegan restaurant and most of the food they offer appears to be raw.

I had one friend who before she moved out of the area said that was the only restaurant she would go out to eat at. My husband has a friend who says he got the best meal of his life at that restaurant. That's a lot to live up to!

After looking over the menu, we decided to get the un-tuna melt and the nachos. We planned on each having half of each dish, so that we could try both of them. The staff was very nice, and the food arrived in good time. The food was better than I expected it to be! I first ate half of the nachos and was so impressed at how flavorful they were. Wow! Absolutely delicious! Then I passed that dish to my husband and I took my half of the un-tuna melt. Yum! I loved everything about it. The food looked great and tasted wonderful. We then decided to splurge and get the silky chocolate ganache pie for dessert, which we shared. Holey moley... it is so good!

Don't let the outside of the building fool you. It may look a little rustic, but it's just part of the charm of the place. The inside is nice, clean, and cozy.

Our bill was $32 total, including tip (we had water to drink with our meal).

This is a restaurant that we will certainly be back to again when we are in the area. We both loved the food and atmosphere, and the fact that it's all vegan. Two thumbs up for Present Moment Cafe. We can't wait to try some of their other dishes!
