I'm glad this got the public exposure it deserved. This woman must lead an unfulfilled, joyless life... I hope she gets the help she so clearly needs.

I hadn't seen this comment from her:
She explained to the paper, "I thought it would be funny." And anyway, she added, "It's just a cat."

Wow.

I guess she still hasn't been brought up charges for this cruel joke.

She and her kind are one of the many reasons all my cats are indoor only.

Jessica - I know! It is such a shame to hear someone say things like that. My cats are also indoor cats, and like you, this is one of the reasons why!

Yep, when my partner and I had cats, we kept them indoors for safety reasons.
