Yes my friend....I am thinking this is about me....you have made me think...your animals killed counter is an eye opener. I own horses and one of them was being auctioned off when I bought her. The man bidding against me was from Canada, he wanted to buy her to sell her for her meat. I paid far more for her than I would have...but she is our pet now and I thank god I did not let her be slaughtered to be served on someone table as a delicacy....sick huh.....

Jacqueline

Yes, Roxanne, this is about you! :)
I'm glad to see that the seed has been planted. So glad to hear you saved the horse as well. What is happening to the horses in America is so disturbing! I have blogged about that before. Sad indeed. Thanks for reading, keeping me updated and for trying the veggie food! Kudos!

I couldn't agree more! I share a lot of information with my friends on my FB page and every now then someone will tell me they cooked up one of the recipes I posted or they picked up one of the books I regularly recommend or they watched a clip on vegsource or youtube that has changed their mind about eating beef or turkey or what have you. I didn't become a vegetarian overnight, it was a process that took five years in total, but I'm there now and I have the blood test results to prove it!

Thank you so much for this blog! I look for it every day in my In Box.

Jacqueline

Thanks for the feedback, Vibeke! I'm glad you like the blog and that you have noticed that your efforts do make a difference. Even if they stop eating meat one or two days per week, they are still doing better for their own health, the planet and the animals. That's always a good thing!
